After a few thousand miles rocking the Flowmaster Force II, I’m still grinning every time I hammer down the throttle. The sound, power, and performance are just killer. Here are a few other thoughts from my experience so far:
Daily driving is still civilized – Unlike some more high-strung exhausts, the Force II provides a nice deep growl when cruising around calmly. No obnoxious drone on the highway. It keeps a low profile until I decide to wake it up.
No issues passing smog testing – I had zero problems getting my emissions test completed in California. The Force II is a CARB approved system that won’t throw any codes or fail testing like some “race only” setups might.
Fuel economy seems unchanged – I was concerned my MPG might drop after adding this less restrictive system. But so far my numbers look very similar to stock. The engine can breathe easier without losing efficiency.
Added protection from rust & corrosion – The aluminized steel and stainless components are built to resist corrosion damage from road debris, weather, and salty winter conditions. I won’t be replacing rusted mufflers anytime soon!

Force II Vs Other Flowmaster Series – How Do They Compare?
With Flowmaster offering multiple muffler designs, each with its own unique sound, it pays to understand how they differ. Here’s a quick rundown of how the Flowmaster Force II compares to other popular Flowmaster exhausts:
Flowmaster 40 Series – The most well known Flowmaster sound. Raspy and aggressive even at idle. Louder with more interior resonance than the Force II.
