If you’re handy, installing the Flowmaster 42541 is totally DIY friendly. It bolts directly to your existing exhaust system using clamps at the inlet and outlet. No welding required. Just support the muffler properly, line up the connections, tighten the clamps, and it’s good to go! I’d recommend a lift or jack stands to get ample room to work under the vehicle. Make sure all clamps and hardware are tight. Then fire up the engine and listen to that beastly exhaust tone!
I picked up my Flowmaster 42541 from Summit Racing since they have competitive prices and quick shipping. It retails for around $150. You may pay a little more at brick and mortar auto parts stores. But it’s worth every penny! The quality and sound make it one of the best bang-for-your-buck muffler upgrades out there.
